Backward π^-p scattering at 3-8 GeV/c is studied using the Regge pole model by exchanging Δ_δ-trajectory. It is shown that although the energy dependence and the slope of the backward peak for |u|&Isim;0.3 (GeV/c)^2 agree with the experimental data, it is difficult to reproduce qualitative experimental feature in the region |u|≳0.3 (GeV/c)^2. Polarization at 8GeV/c and the masses of parity-doublets with J^p=3/2^-, 7/2^- and 11/2^± are also calculated by the parameters of Δ_δ-trajectory.
