The dual resonance model with Regge cut is applied to πN scattering. It is shown that the factorization condition relates the relative magnitude of the ρ pole and its associated Regge cut contribution of the spin flip amplitude to the relative magnitude of the non-flip amplitude. The model can give a non-zero polarization of π-p→π^0n at α_ρ(t)=0.
