Nonpionic two-nucleon absorption of kaons on nuclei is analyzed by refining phases of the transition matrix in meson-rescattering processes including the direct process. Realistic verification of this approach is discussed on ^4He in comparison with nonpionic ratio to all kaon absorption at rest in helium bubble chamber experiments.
