A microscopic approach for a negative pion absorption by a deuteron is extended to complex nuclei. The effective Hamiltonian with the p-wave as well as the s-wave rescattering contributions is derived on the basis of the dispersion relation. The two-nucleon emission process following a 2p bound-pion absorption is investigated in the independent pair model for the ^<12>C nucleus. Absorption rates, the ratio n-n/n-p of the emitted pair, angular distributions and recoil momentum distributions are evaluated for examining the present approach in comparison with experiments. From these results it is shown that the p-wave rescattering effects are of great importance in the absorption from the p state.
