Few basic research focus on the disturbauuce of hard tissue formation and calcification after trauma to the tooth germ. There is no consensus on post-tratumatic changes on standing of tooth germs and on the relation between the timing of trauma and the failure of hard tisstne formation. We gave trauma by penetration to tooth germs at different developmental stages, and examined its effects on them with light and scanning electron microscopes. The developmentalstage of germs at injury was in close association with the degree of hard tissue formation. The distribtutioun denasity of calcium was also measured on these germs with electron probe microanalyzer.
