Freedom means an important factor when we regard every culture, because behind the word each culture has created its own system to fight freedom for its formation. America has created a democratic society, Japan has created a society characteristic to Asian culture, Europe has also created a culture proper to its land and people, etc. No one doubts that "freedom" is the key word of these cultures. To understand every culture we have to know freedom realized in its culture in every sense. Then first we see definitions of the word in the dictionary, and secondly examples in the literature, and thirdly see them in the three historical events where freedom is most typically realized; 'Exodus', 'French Revolution' and 'American Independence'. And lastly we see "freedom" in Japan, which might teach us how differently freedom has been realized in the various context of every culture.
