Simulation Study on Application of Neural Network to Identification of Suspension System

In this paper an identification method of a suspension system is investigated by applying a neural network. By using neural network it is not necessary to obtain a physical model or a mathematical one for a suspension system. In this study, the object is a one-degree-of-freedom vibration system. The structure or neural network used in this paper is 4 layers network and the error back propagation method is applied as a method of learning. By carrying out numerical simulations, the usefulness of neural network for the identification of suspension system was verified.
