Two methods for the extraction of specific information from complex self-pumped phase-conjugated images are presented. Barium titanate is employed as a self-pumped phase-conjugated mirror. Extraction by adjusting the screen position to the desired sample is shown to be effective when the individual samples are spaced at discrete intervals, while vibration of the sample is effective when the samples are set in a compact sequence. These methods allow a single image to be extracted from complex images when coupled with digital post-processing.
