The Coriolis force affects significantly the onset of fingering instability, the angle and shape of finger, and the maximum attainable radius. Once the effect of Coriolis force becomes appreciable, the fingers protrude out of the liquid front in a deflected angle with the radial line. The critical radius is only a function of the rotational Reynolds number when the Coriolis force is dominant. The finger's base area develops into a triangular-like shape. The deflected angle at the finger's base area is quite different from that of fingertip. The changing of finger's deflected angle results in the merging together of fingers, which in turn leads to the increase of maximum attainable radius.
