The low temperature infrared absorption spectra of water of crystallization of BaCl<SUB>2</SUB>·2H<SUB>2</SUB>O, CuCl<SUB>2</SUB>·2H<SUB>2</SUB>O and K<SUB>2</SUB>C<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB>·H<SUB>2</SUB>O, which have water of crystallization in different bound states, were measured and compared with the room temperature spectra. Corresponding to the change of temperature of the samples, remarkable change in frequencies and intensities was observed for the bands due to the lattice vibrations associated with water of crystallization.
