Raman spectra of methanol and aqueous solutions of <I>N</I>,<I>N</I>′-dimethylpiperazine were measured. Forms of stable conformers in various states were studied by comparison of the spectra obtained under various conditions. It was found that hydrogen bonding to nitrogen atoms of <I>N</I>,<I>N</I>′-dimethylpiperazine causes a conformational change.
