Two new dicarbonato complexes, K[Co(CO<SUB>3</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>(bpy)]·2H<SUB>2</SUB>O and K[Co(CO<SUB>3</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>(phen)]·H<SUB>2</SUB>O, have been prepared by the method starting from the [Co(Co<SUB>3</SUB>)<SUB>3</SUB>]<SUP>3−</SUP> complex and resolved by means of diastereoisomer formation.
