Additional elution experiments for confirming the fact that the trans ions of the diacidotetrammine-type complexes are always eluted faster than the corresponding cis ions have been performed by using several diacido-type complexes which are relatively unstable. By comparing the elution maxima for the whole complex ions which have been used to date, the relative adsorbabilities of the isomeric ions on a cation exchanger have been predicted as follows:<BR>For the trans ions,<BR> [Co en2(NCS)2]+<[Co en2(NO2)2]+\simeq<BR> [Co en2Br2]+<[Co en2Cl2]+\simeq<BR> [Co en2NO2Cl]+<[Co(NH3)4(NO2)2]+<<BR> [Co en(NH3)2Cl2]+<BR>For the cis ions,<BR> [Co en2Cl2]+<[Co en2(NCS)2]+<<BR> [Co en(NH3)2Cl2]+\simeq[Co en2NO2Cl]+<<BR> [Co en2(NO2)2]+<[Co(NH3)4(NO2)2]+<BR>A part of the present work was supported by a grant-in-aid from the Ministry of Education.
