The Diels-Alder adducts of "anhydrochloral-urethane" with some 1,3-dienes were successfully utilized for the synthesis of some δ-amino acid derivatives by the sequence of the reactions, <I>viz.</I>, hydrogenation, dehydrochlorination, and ozonolysis.
