Methyl <I>N</I>-nitroso-<I>p</I>-acetamidobenz [<SUP>14</SUP>C] oate was decomposed in benzene, and the product was analyzed by the isotopic dilution method. The results are shown in Table I, and the mechanistic implication is discussed.
