Intrasacral occult meningocele may be described as an abnormal dilatation of the meninges lying within the confines of the sacral spinal canal.Recently, we experienced a rare case of intrasacral occult meningocele.This patient was a 60 year old woman complaining of severe low back pain of twenty year's duration. The pain was intermittent and complicated by disturbance of urination. Its symptomatology and treatment are discussed.
