• The treatment of solitary bone cyst by intracystic injections of steroid was reported by Scaglietti et al in 1973. They have obtained excellent results.Recently we experienced eleven cases with solitary bone cyst which have been treated by Scaglietti's method.Of 11 cases, 6 were males and 5 were females with an average of 10.5 years. The follow-up ranged from 7 months to 4 years and 4 months. The results: 5 cases showed complete cure, 4 cases partial cure, and 2 cases no change.The technique of local injection was safe and an effective treatment.
