We report two cases of ulnar nerve compression secondary to traumatic false aneurysm at the Guyon's canal, and discuss the mechanism of ulnar nerve palsy in 6 cases, consisting of 2 of our own cases and 4 cases from previously published literature. According to Sea's classification these 6 cases were classifed into 4 cases of Type I and 2 cases of Type III. We, however, could not find any case of Type II. This may be due to the occurring mechanism of traumatic false aneurysm and the anatomical peculiarity of the ulnar nerve root at the Guyon's canal.
