We previously reported the effects of HEBP and strontium on the epiphyseal cartilage of the tibia. In this paper, the difference in the healing process between the HEBP and the strontium induced rickets was reported. The metaphyseal vascularity in the healing process of the growth plate of the tibia was almost same in the way of the Spalteholz method and the vascular cast.The calcification of the epiphyseal car tilage plate appeared earlier in the Strontium rickets than in the HEBP rickets.In the strontium rickets, use of the analyzer showed that Ca and Sr had almost same distribution in the growth plate of the proximal tibia during its healing process.
