We reported two cases of the seat-belt injuries in an automobile. Two cases were transverse fractures at the center of the sternum. The mechanism of these fractures was direct force to the sternum due to the shoulder belt in a three-point seat-belt.We considered that it was necessary to improve the seat-belt in the future.
