Acute plastic bowing deformity has been reported primarily in the forearm in children, until recently, several cases have been reported at the femur and fibula et al. We experienced treating this deformity of the fibula with a fracture of the tibia.The patient was a 3-year-old female with the deformity in her calf. X-rays revealed acute plastic bowing deformity of the fibula with the fracture of the tibia. Closed reduction under general anesthesia was achieved by a great force at a point of convex with the technique of the lever. Now, 18 months later, the fracture of the tibia and the deformity of the fibula have healed, and she has no functional complaint.
