Dislocation of the tarso-metatarsal joint is uncommon. Furthermore isolated dislocation of the medial and intermedial cuneiform joint accompanied by fracture of medial part of the navicular is very rare. The mechanism of this simple dislocation of the big toe was produced by plantal flexion-adduction forces with longitudinal compression of the first metatarsal bone. We operated three caces within the last two years. The purpose of this paper was to discuss the mechanisms of injury and the methods of treatment.
