To elucidate the mechanism of the cardiac lesions due to thiamine deficiency, authors have been carrying on studies on the cardiac lesions in pure thiamine deficient rats.In this paper, the general progress, electrocardiograms and histological findings observed on control normal rats and on thiamine deficient rats are reported.
