To establish the effective teaching practice both aspects of teaching side and learning side in practicum should be considered. The present study focused upon the teaching side and developed a category system which included verbal and nonverbal classification items. The category system was applied to a teaching practice in junior high school and the results were informed to the practicum teachers. The feedback information was shown to be effective and useful for improving the structure of teaching practice in junior high shool. Following effects were suggested from the results of the present study. 1 ) The category classification will be applied to evaluate teaching practice and to improve it. 2) The whole situation of the practicum will be grasped by glancing at Table 2 and Figure 2. 3) The method presented here will be one of the useful way to grasp the flow of practicum and to find clues that are successful and unsuccessful in practicum.
