Study on Slow Wave Characteristics of the Transmission Line Employing Various PAGS Structures on Semiconducting Substrate

In this work, for application to miniaturized RF components on MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit), we developed transmission lines employing PAGS (Periodically Arrayed Ground Structure)on silicon semiconducting substrate. Concretely, we investigated RF characteristics of various PAGS structures depending. According to the results, PAGS with contact and without slot showed shortest wavelength of all structures.
