A new sesquiterpene derivative, 11-Eudesmene-1β, 3α, 4β-triol was isolated from the fruit bodies ofLactarius laeticolorus (Russulaceae). The compound exhibited a cytotoxic effect on KB cells and its structure was established by spectroscopic data.
