後進地域における工業港の形成と展開 : 小名浜港を例として

In our country, the industral port is going to form and develope by the demands of national economics for transportation or circulation of cargo, forming a link in the chain of reproduction processes. Then, the presentt author intended to analize the process of develoment of the industrial port positively by way of example of Onahama Port at where we can recognize unprecedented expansion of cargo transport in Tohoku District. In the case of development of industrial port in the under-development region, common elements will be seen in the process for its formation, as follows : (1) There is main constituents in utilization of port. (2) The type of that main constituents was inland industry one at the beginning of its establishment. (3) According to the expansion of enterprise, the industry transisted and changed in quality from inland type to seaside one. (4) In the present time, this seaside industry is equipment industry which has to depend upon its main materials from foreign lands. Forming the base by the four terms above mentioned, Onahama Port has done capital accumulation and developed many equipments by utilizing the port. Therefore, we can say that the developemnt of industrial port in our country will be formed the basing place for maximum increase by reason of the utilization of public, exclusive use by capitalism at the under-developed port.
