• I have studied the works of a writer, Kunio Tsuji for over ten years and reported them in the bulletins. I was to write his critical biography this time. However, it is immpossible the critical biography through his life to be printed at a time, and it would take me a few more months to finish them, so I would like to publish the first chapter of "From his Birth to the Days of Middle School" in this issue. As material, I referred to the chronological record and "Jidensho", "Icho Chiriyamazu", in which he wrote the memory of his father and traced his family's roots, "Nochino Omoini", which is the last autobiogaraphical novel written by Kunio Tsuji, and "Tsuji Kunio no Tameni", "Taezu Kaku Hito to Kurashite" written by his wife, Sahoko Tsuji.
