• I investigated the motif, the plot, the material, and the historical background of the work in "The Introduction to A study of Azuchi Okanki by Tsuji Kunio" issued last year. In an issue this year, when I pursue the image, -what kind of person, "Signore in Owari" is, told by "me", the protagonist, I would like to study Oda Nobunaga, for a historical figure referring to Japanese History written by Frois and Shincho-Kouki. Next, through examining the ptofile of "Signore in Owari" in this work, centering on the relationship between the Signore and "I", between Padres and the Signore, and between an inspector Valignano and the Signore, I would like to bring the figure of Oda Nobunaga into relief, which the writer tried to depict as "a newly discovered personality".
