This paper examines the relationship between the learners' target language proficiency and two types of errors, i.e., transfer errors and developmental errors by using multiple interlanguage analyses : contrastive analysis, error analysis, and T-unit analysis on the basis of the hypothesis established from the review of the articles in the first part of the study (Takai : 1989). The hypothesis to be tested in this study is as follows : if the learner is a beginner who has a poor proficiency in the target language, there will be more first language transfer type of errors. As a result, the hypothesis has been supported by the statistic t-test.
