Amorphous Pd-Si, La-Au and Fe base alloys were investigated by Mossbauer effect of ^<57>Fe and ^<197>Au nuclei, electrical resistivity and X-ray diffraction. It is concluded that the local atomic configurations of the amorphous alloys are close to those of the crystalline phases of the same composition. The electronic structures, the microscopic inhomogenities and the stabilities of the amorphous alloys were also studied.
