On the Formation of Complex Ions Applied in Analytical Chemistry. II : Studies on Complexes of Lead and Cadmium Tartrates

Complexbilities of various ions applied to chemical analysis have been measured. In this report, the complexbilities of lead and cadmiurn tartrates were measured by the usual potentiometric compensation method, using the ion concentration cell, hydrogen electrode and quinhydrone electrode. The following results were obtained : lead tartrate : K=1.24×10^<-3>, cadmium tartrate : K=1.20×l0^<-4>.
