This paper reports how the learners adjust themselves to the Portfolio-based learning, by examining their performance in class and reaction to the questionnaire conducted at the end of the semester. The questionnaire consists of 7 items; 1. Overall impression, 2. Self evaluation 3. Use of CD-ROM and PC in class 4. Portfolio-based learning, 5. Pace, 6. Teacher's instruction, and 7. Comments and remarks. The outcome confirms that the majority of the learners was satisfied with what they have done in class, and also took the Portfolio-based activities as a preferable way of language learning. The idea of using CD-ROM and PC was supported as well. Yet some still had difficulty to catch up the pace as they had too much to accomplish. Further discussions are necessary to select valid materials and make it clear on what should be emphasized on the Portfolio-based learning.
