Superconducting Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O Thick Films by the Sol-Gel Method : Electrical Properties of Condensed Matter

Superconducting thick films of the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system were prepared on MgO(100) substrates by the sol-gel method. A smooth thick film showing T_<co> of 117 K and T_<ce> of 84 K has been synthesized by sintering at 870℃ for 2 h. The thick films sintered at above 860℃ showed the c-axis perpendicular to the substrate.
