We discuss on the roles of the exchange interaction between electrons and the nature of the bare ion-ion interaction, besides the Fermi surface nesting, in making the electron-phonon coupling λ_<ph> large. We discuss under what condition, λ_<ph> can be strongly exchange enhanced and how such condition is fulfilled in the high T_c oxide superconductors. Also we show how the spin fluctuation coupling destructive to superconductivity might be neglected despite such exhange effect in λ_<ph>.
