A torque magnetometr utilizing a pulley system was designed for use in a superconducting magnet. The sample is rotated by a synchronous motor with the rotational axis perpendicular to the direction of the applied magnetic field. The magnetic torque from 10^2 to 10^6 dyn cm can be measured with an accuracy of 1% in a high magnetic field. This type of torque magnetometer is convenient for measuring large magnetic anisotropy. The temperature dependence of the anisotropy constants for Pr_2Fe_<14>B was measured in magnetic fields up to 100 kOe and over the temperature range from 4.2 to 300 K.
