A ΔV/V surface acoustic waveguide on an anisotropic substrate is analyzed very precisely and the nonlinear component developed on the waveguide is calculated. Then we perform theoretical analysis of 2ω surface acoustic waves which are generated by the above nonlinear component as its excitation forces and propagate in the direction perpendicular to the waveguide.
