概要

Production of recoil electrons in material irradiated with γ-rays results in an electric current flow. A simplified analysis of this effect with specific interest for γ-rays below 50 MeV is given. Examples for the Co-60 γ-rays and the accelerator-produced brems-strahlung are shown.
