Some of the possibilities that arise by taking advantage of the inherent merits of the vacuum Osaka tube in a gas filled Osaka tube are considered experimentally. At a gas pressure of about 10^<-2> Torr in the case of a hot cathode gas filled Osaka tube, when the inside of the interaction space is weakly ionized, the oscillation frequency f of the electromagnetic wave under the condition of a parabolic DC potential is given as f=nf_e (n=1, 2, 3, . . . ), where f_e is the fundamental frequency of the motion of the electron along the ,v-axis. Furthermore, when the gas is being ionized, it is given as f=mf_m (m=1, 2, 3, 4), where f_m is the frequency of the motion of the electron along the y-direction. The oscillation frequency of the cold cathode gas filled Osaka tube is observed by the fundamental and its harmonic frequencies of the B type magnetron.
