In optical detection by a glow discharge with the application of a DC magnetic field, its noise power can be reduced by a synchronization effect, if a rf signal is injected into the discharge device. However, the noise power increases due to the phenomena outside the locking range. The spectrum distribution is examined quantitatively under conditions of oscillation.
