The features of the discharge modes and the discharge forms in a minute space with the application of a $DC$ magnetic field are described from the standpoint of the wide-band optical and video frequency responses. The optical detections due to collision ionization caused by an electric field of optical signals become conspicuous in the longer wavelength range, while with the photoionization of excited atoms, they become conspicuous in the shorter wavelength range. The equivalent circuit of discharge is analyzed with the video frequency responses of the optical analog signals and the optical digital signals, and it is shown that the contraction of the discharge forms caused by the application of a magnetic field to the discharge plasma exerts an influence on the constants of the equivalent circuit.
