概要

Light scattering properties are obtained through the liquid crystal microlens with a short focal length, and a scattering type of display device can be attained by fabricating a number of microlenses in a cell. By arranging the liquid crystal microlenses randomly, the quality of the transparency and display properties of the cell are improved comparing with the microlens array of a well-ordered arrangement.
