Current schemes of the quantum computation and quantum information processing are based on the assumption that the entanglement is invariant. It would be important to ask whether overall entanglement is invariant in relativistic regime to understand the limits of quantum information processing. Here, we wish to show that quantum entanglement is not invariant in special relativity. As a result, the relativistic effects would affect nearly all aspects of quantum information processing and quantum computation. Furthermore, relativistic entanglement could have practical implications on topics such as black hole physics, where Hawking particles inside and outside of the event horizon are presumed to be entangled.
