Numerical experiments have been performed in order to develop a methodology for the intensification of the dissimilarity between heat and momentum transfer in duct flow involving actively controlled injection and suction from the heated wall. Three types of injection/suction active control, with and without temperature control, were tested for a constant wall Reynolds number of 150. From the results it was found that the interactive fluid motions that contribute to turbulent heat flux can be intensified by controlling the temperature of injection/suction as the turbulent heat flux increases at a detection plane in the duct. This causes a marked drag reduction and a heat transfer recovery, namely, an intensification of the dissimilarity between heat and momentum transfer.
