Toroidal carbon nanotubes (TCN's) are threaded Joy raaagnetic fltrx (<)). The rraagneto-electronicstrtrctures are stttdied within the tiglat-loinding raaodel. The ctrrvatttre efl'ect, whicla is dtre to themisorientation of' the 'r-electrota orbitals, uaaight I)l2TV an iraaportant role on the low energy elec-tr'onic states. The thin TCN's. xvith arrtuchair-zigz;tg and zigzag-arnuchair strtrcttrres, exhibit ['otnr(three) types of energy gaps in the presence (alcsence) of' the ctnrvatur'e efl'ect. The unagnetoelecironic structtrres clearl3' vatry xvith (/) except tlae thin zigzag-arrncla?rir TCN's. They cotrld exlaibitthe periodic?tl Aharronov-Bohna oscillaxtiorus, since the Zeernsxn sjclitting is generally negligiloleexcejct at large</>'s.
