Resonant st?tnding waves on finite depth water are olotained analytically and ntrtnerically. Theatnalytical soltttions are deterznined to fif'th order which is the tninitautrm order to investigateharmonic resonance. Three different wave profiles are obtained for a given parameter of' A) 1,where All is an expansiora coefficient of the fundanaental naode. We l?ave fottnd an itaterestingfact that the depth dependence of one of the fotrrth order coefficients is qualitatively difl'erentfrouaa that of the other coefficients for relatively deep water. We have fttrtherttuore obtained theanalytical solution whicla explarins the fact. A new rnethod to c?tlctrlate standing xvaves of' largearnplittrde on finite depth water is also presented.
