Nuclear Relaxation of Hydrogen-Doped Antiferromagnetic YBa_2Cu_3O_6+xH_y

Curl) NQR, Cu(2) zero field NMR, and proton NIVIR have been measured in the antiferro-maunetic (AF) r>hase of a r>owdered sarnrle of hvdro:en-dored YB82C1l3O6.]HO.14 from 4.2 to300 K. The line width of 'H NMR increases abruptly below 20 K. The enhancernents of T.- ' andT7 ' of "Curl) NQR occur around 20 and 4OK, respectively. The relaxation mechanism of 'Z'lof NQR changes at T.m :: 80K and the tirne deperadence of its ntnclear magnetization recoveryshows a nonexponential type for T< Trm and an exponential one for T >T.rn. The predorninantsource for 11 below Trm is found to be the fluctuating magnetic fields due to the staggered Cu"moments induced by the hole doping effect. Above V'rm, T. ' of NQR increases gradually withtemperature but it is almost temperature independent above 150 K, what can not be explainedby the effect of the ordered AF Cvt" moments in the Cu(2)Oz plane and also by the Ramanprocess of the lattice vibrations.
