Emission cross section was measured for the 3s3p^6→3s^23p^5 transition of Ar^+ by electron impact in the energy range from the threshold to 1000 eV. The result obtained is (5.19±0.93)×10^<-18> cm^2 for the 91.98 nm line and (2.64±0.58)×10^<-18> cm^2 for the 93.21 nm line at 200 eV.
