Anounalous heating is investjgafed in the syste?tt composed of a plasnta anda relativistic electron beam (RUB) along a uniforna external naagnetic field. Thewave kinetic equation derived in the preceding paper (J, Phys. Soc. Jpn. 49(1980) 1524) is applied to the REB-plasma systeun. As the mechanism of plasmaheating, the wave of the two-streana instability a?vd Buneman or ion-acousticwave induced by the return current are coupled through the nonlinear wave-particle interaction. High heating rate is obtained from the estimation of thestopping power. The turbulent collision frequency and the perpendicular energytransfer agree with the experimental and nuuvterical results.
