The Grimm-Storer's Monte-Carlo method based on the Feynman path integraland the Anderson's one based on the diffusion equation are reformulated toclarify their similarities from computational standpoint irrespective of the quitedifferent consideration process. The comparison of these two methods indicatesthe limitation of the accuracy and the applicability of Monte-Carlo method.Numerical results on H atom and Hf Jon are presented as illustrative examples.
